About Emily

I am originally from the United Kingdom and now reside in Virginia Beach. I love to dance and am honoured to be able to call it my career. I enjoy watching other people learn the wonderful dance form and most importantly have fun. I started teaching 10 years ago and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I have danced from the age of 3 learning Latin and Ballroom as well as Disco freestlyle, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Cheer-leading. I moved onto learning Country and Western Line Dancing at the age of 11. I was hooked from my first class and began Country & Western competitions soon after. I have competed in Dance Competitions for over 12 years and have won 9 World titles in solo and couples, as well as receiving 2 star awards at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville for favourite Line Dance Instructor and Line Dance personality. I am a U.C.W.D.C (United Country Western Dance Council) certified adjudicator as well as coach. I continue to compete and travel over the World coaching, judging and performing. I am very proud to be apart of Dancing with the Hampton Roads Celebrity Stars!!
