Lindsay Eure is a professional entertainer, director and teacher. She is a resident artist at The Zeiders American Dream Theater where she conceives and directs themed revue style shows. Her performance credits range far and wide, including the role of the Narrator in the National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, as well as appearances at numerous regional theaters across the country including the 11,000 seat Muny in St. Louis, and The Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
She has been a regularly featured actress with Virginia Musical Theater, at the Sandler Center, as well as Virginia Stage Company. Notable VMT roles include Tanya in Mamma Mia, Vera Charles in Mame, Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray, Narrator in Joseph…, and Miss Sandra in All Shook Up. As a cabaret artist, she has performed several acclaimed one woman shows including Let Me Sing and I’m Happy, Hit Me With A Hot Note!, and Two’s Company. Lindsay trained at the prestigious University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music where she earned a BFA in Musical Theater.
She is also an alumna and former instructor at The Governor’s School for the Arts where she currently serves on the Foundation Board, and is a former Hurrah Player. Lindsay is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association since 2004 and teaches musical theater performance out of her home in Chesapeake. Her time outside the theater is spent with her 4 year old son Duke, husband Robert, and family.
