2018 Debbie Hearst
As a native of Virginia Beach I graduated from Floyed E. Kellam High School and later from Old Dominion University. I have dabbled in Modeling and Acting which took me to Los Angeles and New York. Realizing I needed a real job, I was a dispatcher for Virginia Beach and currently work for the Virginia Beach Fire Department as a Life Safety Specialist.
I love to travel and music has always been a part of my life; from dancing several nights a week at Rogues Gallery, to blasting music in my apartment or while driving. Yeah, I’m that girl that performs in the car! Sometimes while putting on make-up, however; if I’m running late and I just don’t have time for a performance at home…that will have to be done in the car! There is music that fits every mood and event; we all just sometimes need the music or just the words. So grateful to have this opportunity to dance…..give me a beat!
